Our Procedure. Step 1
The first step to completing your exterior painting project is to pressure wash all surfaces to be painted. We won’t paint over grit and grime which would only shorten the lifespan of the finish. We’ll powerfully — but gently — and thoroughly clean all surfaces to be painted to ensure perfect penetration and adhesion of our customized Sherwin Williams projects.

Pressure washing also helps us to see anything that needs to be repaired, and gives us the information to make all preparations for painting.
Step 2
The second step consists of assessing and making any necessary repairs to the exterior features of your home. They can’t help but become worn, battered, and broken over time. We won’t try to hide the need for repairs but will apply our carpentry skills to repairing any: damaged soffits and fascia boards; window frames, sills, and nosing; brick molding; and corner boards. If you’re concerned about the condition of any element to be painted, don’t hesitate to point them out in advance.

Once any repairs are completed, we’ll thoroughly prepare all new and original surfaces to be painted. This part of the process may seem slow, and intentionally so. Proper preparation ensures your complete and long lasting satisfaction. During this stage, we’ll scrape, sand, fill, and prime any surfaces as required to ensure a perfect final result.
Final Step
Only after those first two — and most essential steps are completed — will we begin to apply the ideal Sherwin Williams product. Our team will apply the colors and coats necessary to achieve your design as selected and confirmed in advance. Our commitment is to your complete delight and no surprises — except happy ones. Before this third stage — and in fact at every stage — we will take all appropriate measures to protect your property, plants, windows, and any areas not being painted from dirt, damage, and debris.
